Technical Administrator – Calibration & Maintenance
Location: Bolton
Contract: 12 Month Contract
Rate: 16.50 – 18.00 per hour
Morson are recruiting on behalf of a leading Aerospace and Defence organisation for a Technical Administrator to join the Calibration & Maintenance Team at their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bolton.
This is an excellent opportunity to support the management of calibration and maintenance activities across critical production test equipment, working within a fast-paced and highly regulated engineering environment.
The Opportunity
You will join a small Control Team within the wider Calibration & Maintenance department, acting as a key coordinator responsible for managing external service providers to ensure maintenance and calibration activities are completed efficiently and on time.
The Role

Managing external calibration and repair activities with approved service providers

Reviewing technical calibration certificates and reports to ensure they meet company requirements

Scheduling preventative maintenance visits for test equipment

Supporting the Control Team Lead with the management of critical spares and calibration requirements

Raising purchase requisitions to support maintenance and calibration activities

Coordinating the deployment of critical spares packages to minimise downtime in production

Producing and reviewing technical documentation related to equipment servicing and calibration

Acting as a focal point for calibration and maintenance processes within the **SAP system, including providing support where required
What We Are Looking For

Minimum qualification: HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience or knowledge of mechanical and electrical measurement techniques

Working knowledge of the SAP enterprise resource planning system

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
