Top Technical Skills:
- Electrical wiring and harness routing per engineering drawings.
- Connector assembly, wire splicing, and termination.
- Fiber optic installation and testing.
- Bonding and grounding operations with resistance testing.
- Ability to interpret wiring design drawings, system interconnects, and equipment installation diagrams.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED and typically 7+ years of related work experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate degree + 2 years related work, Bachelor’s degree, etc.).
Experience:
- 7+ years using software applications (Microsoft Suite, email, internet navigation).
- 7+ years reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications in English.
- 7+ years in advanced manufacturing or technical fields using hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
- 7+ years working with wiring design drawings, system interconnects, and equipment installation diagrams.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work all shifts based on business needs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as:
- Flexion/extension (head bent down/back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist, walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).
- Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
- Comfortable working with high-hazard chemicals.
Training:
- On-the-job training provided.
