Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Description
An Avionics Technician is responsible for the installation, modification, and troubleshooting of avionics systems in Corporate Jet and Government Aircraft such as Bombardier Challenger, Learjet, Embraer Legacy and Gulfstream models. The role requires the ability to perform complex installations, fabricate wire harnesses, and conduct functional tests under limited supervision. Emphasis is placed on installation and troubleshooting with minimal errors.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of experience in avionics modification and installation.
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing avionics systems.
- Proficiency in avionics electrical systems, avionics system testing software, and avionics repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Garmin, Honeywell, and Collins systems.
- A&P certification is a plus but not required.

Work Environment
Work in a well-lit, temperature-controlled facility located in the Signature Flight hangar in Columbus. The environment includes approximately 15 techs and management, with a dedicated avionics department of four people. The role is on the first shift, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and involves working on a variety of aircraft such as Gulfstream II, III, IV, V, Bombardier, LearJet 30, 40, or 60 series, Challenger 601, 604, 605, and Lineage.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
