We have an exciting temporary 90 day opportunity for an individual who is currently enrolled in an aviation or technical education program pursuing a career in aviation. This position, under supervision, is responsible for assembly, test, and repair of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions and technical orders, procedures, and regulations to ensure customer specifications are met.
Under close supervision, this position is responsible for providing flight line and ground support. Troubleshoots, repairs, and services aircraft and/or ground control systems to determine related problems. Provides technical assistance in mechanical and inspection work.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assist in the performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Assist in the inspection of aircraft, ground control, and ground support related components at regular intervals. Adhering to company approved procedures, maintenance manuals, and/or government technical order requirements.
- Assist in repairs and part replacements as directed.
- Assist in the removal and replacement of aircraft and/or ground control station/ground support equipment components.
- Will learn all required documentation in accordance with established company procedures and/or government and customer technical order requirements.
- May assist with all launch and recovery tasks of aircraft/ground control to include ground operations, preflight items, ground observer responsibilities, and post flight items.
- May support engine and airframe operational checks and installation of payloads.
- May inspect, maintain, and operate ground support equipment.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:- Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work with common hand tools.
- Must be able to perform a variety of routine tasks and demonstrate a good working knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Ability and willingness to work on systems which have unusual conditions such as high pressure, high voltage, high energy, cryogens, or radioactive materials.
- Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field required.
