Perform point-to-point wiring of cabinets, chassis, panels, cable installation, and full flight simulator systems wiring on board and off board, installing, and securing cabling under raised floors and up on ladder racks. Building of complex cable assemblies.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Must have basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical hand tools and be able to effectively use them (wire strippers - manual and pneumatic, crimpers - manual and pneumatic, hand cutters, heat gun, insertion and extraction tools, hot air sleeve solder gun, soldering iron, wire wrap tool, continuity tester, tape measure, ribbon cable connector assembly tool, etc.)
Must have aptitude for learning how to work from wire lists, assembly drawings, schematics, engineering orders, engineering change orders, engineering logs, workmanship standards and manufacturing procedures / work instructions.
Must obtain, at company’s expense J-STD-001 Soldering certification, IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements for the manufacture of cable, wire, and harness assemblies’ certification, forklift certification.
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper spaning and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, scaffolding and on top of trainers while using proper fall protection when required.
Must have ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS approximately 50 of the year, sometimes with very short notice, or from one site directly to the next without stopping home. Most trips average 3-4 weeks for installs, some may be longer, and others may only be 1-2 days.
