• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, including testing, modifications, replacements, and repairs.
• Complete documentation such as shop and work order records and submit required reports.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, procedures, and technical manuals.
• Utilize the company database to locate parts and manuals.
• Apply principles and basic theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, mathematics, testing, and elementary physics.

• Experience with radio equipment.
• Aptitude for fine, detailed mechanical work and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Basic communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Minimum two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in the maintenance and repair of various types of avionic equipment such as autopilot, radios, radar, or transponders.
• Proficiency with PCB soldering, auto-pilot, and radio repair is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
