Join our Engineering team as a Ground Support Equipment & Tools Engineer and contribute to the development, safety, and compliance of the equipment that keeps our aircraft maintenance operations running smoothly.
In this role, you will work closely with aviation engineering professionals to design, develop, test, and implement ground support equipment and specialized tools. You will help ensure that all equipment meets strict aviation safety standards and performs reliably in real operational environments.
If you are great with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, understand materials engineering, and have knowledge of how environmental and weather conditions affect equipment performance and durability, this role will give you the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a dynamic aviation environment.
We will entrust you toDevelop technical documents to ensure the safe usage of GSE to company standards
Maintain full GSE compliance with company policies and procedures IAW national and EU standards
Provide engineering assistance to in development of tools, fixtures and equipment necessary for aircraft maintenance including preparation of technical specifications and requirement collection, design follow-up, prototype manufacturing follow-up, validation of the equipment on the aircraft, and qualification and compatibility tests
Participate for new equipment procurement or production process
Prepare and issue instructions for new tools usage/storage processes
What you will need to succeedEngineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or similar studies
Experience in design and manufacturing of equipment
Experience in metrological standards will be considered as advantage
Computer skills (Familiarity with CAD tools, and other commonly used software. MS Office and data bases)
Fluency in English and Latvian languages
