As a Lead Engineer for HSE and ESG Management Systems here at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining the organizations HSE and ESG management systems, strategies and digital tools. Your contributions will ensure compliance with HSE and ESG standards, support HSE and sustainability initiatives, and enhance our social responsibility efforts. fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.

You will report directly to our VP of Regulatory HSE and ESG and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

• Develop and implement HSE and ESG management systems in alignment with industry frameworks and best practices.
• Develop and execute comprehensive HSE and ESG strategies that align with the organizations mission, fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility and ESG and sustainability commitments.
• Represent the global HSE and ESG function and partner with Information Technology stakeholders to develop and deploy Honeywell’s HSE and ESG digitization and information management strategies. 
• Deploy processes to continually improve HSE and ESG digital solutions with stakeholders to ensure alignment with global strategies.
• Sustain the global management operating system (MOS) for the Regulatory HSE and ESG function 
• Collect, analyze, and report on HSE and ESG performance metrics and data.
• Utilize data analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement in HSE and ESG practices.

• Working knowledge of environmental, health and safety, sustainability, corporate governance or other related areas
• Experience managing and/or deploying digital solutions or analytic tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

• Bachelor’s Degree with a technical, business, sustainability, social sciences or EHS focus
• Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Lean or Six Sigma experience
