As a Quality Engineer III here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality standards for our aerospace products and services. You will be accountable for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting audits and inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the aerospace industry.

You will report directly to our Sr. Quality Engineering Manager, and youll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an Onsite work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the quality and performance of our Aerospace products. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements. Your attention to detail and dedication to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our aerospace business.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with organizational, industry, and customer requirements
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
- Provide technical expertise and facilitate to internal and external stakeholders on quality-related matters
- Compile reporting data to provide an overhaul scorecard of quarterly metrics for presentation to Sr. Leadership
- Performs internal audits of processes and functions to assure continued compliance to international standards, requirements, and applicable government regulations
- Leads and facilitates multi-disciplined RCCA and problem-solving teams
- Position will support and lead compliance to AS9100/ISO9001
- Continuous improvement projects and coordination
- Additional requirements as necessary
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field
- 4+ years’ experience in quality engineering or technical role
- 3+ years’ experience in Root Cause Corrective Action Plans
- 2+ years’ experience in a technical manufacturing facility
- Advanced Experience in Excel Functions, Pivot Tables, and Formulas
- Excellent Problem Solving and decision-making abilities
WE VALUE:
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry or a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- AS9100/ISO9001 Regulatory familiarity
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification
- Experience with Tableau, SAP in an analytical environment
- Advanced experience in PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills and be able to work equally well with executives, engineers, supervisors, and operators
- Ability to work both independently and within a team, and be proficient in interpreting and applying established standards
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,000 - $103,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as spanet and business considerations.
