Hybrid/Flex Onsite & 9/80 Work Schedule
Pay Estimated: $40-$48 Per Hour
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll be a member of cross-functional hardware, software, and system design teams responsible for the realization of complex computing and communications systems. You’ll contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, system modeling, performance analysis, design, integration, test, and verification of these systems. Occasional travel in support of field test events.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to develop advanced computing and communications systems
- Contribute to Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and system requirements definition
- Perform system modeling, performance analysis, and architecture development
- Support design, integration, and verification of hardware-software integrated systems
- Participate in prototype development, hardware integration, and system-level testing
- Assist with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and validation activities
- Support field test events and operational demonstrations
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field
- 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6 months of experience
- Experience with requirements definition, system architecture, and systems engineering processes
- Experience with systems modeling or performance analysis
- Exposure to hardware and software integration environments
- Ability to travel occasionally to support field test events
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Hardware Prototype Development
- Experience with Hardware Integration and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
- Background in communications systems or digital signal processing (DSP)
- Experience working in Agile hardware/software/firmware development environments
- Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Digital Engineering or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience using SysML, MagicDraw, or Cameo
