Test Engineer II position in the SIL FCS group is responsible for Facility Controls Systems (FCS) Electrical Design, implementation, test solutions verification and validation, Commissioning Test and Correlation test processes for the new test solutions needed at Hon Mexicali Campus.

This position is also responsible for the analysis of new Test Equipment interconnections to define the required FCS Test Solution. Also responsible for engineering substantiation thru basic analytical capabilities and coordinate the implementation of the test solution through the Hon Aerospace Engineering Process.

• Understanding of Electric design process and electrical drawing standards. 
• Drafting connection diagrams using electrical design Software (AutoCAD Electrical).
• Validating electrical systems using standard measurement equipment. 
• Create evidence and documentation for the Design Reviews required to consolidate the Test Solutions design process
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications. Position is responsible for the Electrical Design test engineering process and is required to present status to stakeholders on a regular basis 
• Keep track and document lessons learned, best practices, Test Problems and cost and cycle time reduction opportunities associated with the electrical design process. 
• Demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication in Spanish and English. Effective communication with management, test leads and Hon MRTC support groups 

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics, Cybernetic, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• At least  2 years of experience in Test Engineering Roles or Electrical Design Roles
• Proven hands‑on electrical design experience: able to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to translate truth tables/logic into practical relay/contactors circuits
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical. Acceptable alternatives if strong in electrical design: Proteus, Autodesk Inventor, or Autodesk Revit.
