Tasks
- Monitoring and implementing applicable legal regulations and Lufthansa Group requirements
- Reviewing financial processes to ensure compliance with current standards
- Designing, implementing, and improving financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Leading or actively participating in projects aimed at process improvement or optimization (in cooperation with the department or LGBS)
- Preparing financial reports in accordance with local (Polish) and international standards
- Providing financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making
- Acting as a backup for the Entity Accountant, including preparation of financial statements
- Supporting audits by preparing and delivering the required documentation
- Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders (e.g., tax advisors, system providers)
- Coordinating financial information flow and ensuring proper communication across departments
- Providing data and insights to the Controlling Department to support internal controls
*Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or at least 3rd year of studies) in economics, preferably with an accounting focus
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting
- Very good command of English (min. B2 level, written and spoken)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid understanding of end-to-end accounting processes
- Diligent, independent, and systematic approach to work
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Good numerical skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work under time pressure
