Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance;
- Lead and mentor a small accounting team to drive efficiency;
- Responsible for the posting of all supplier invoices in line with the internal processes;
- Responsible for the posting of all banks and petty cash transactions;
- Handling reconciliations of Accruals, Prepayments, Accrued Income, and others;
- Full responsibility on monthly intra-company reconciliations;
- Provide full support on Trial Balance monthly reconciliations;
- Provide support for the review of accounting transactions and the management accounts;
- Draft the VAT returns for submission;
- Assisting with external audit process;
- Drive improvements in systems and procedures, taking proactive steps towards continuous enhancement;
- Supporting in day to day running of the department;
- Support junior staff members and other members of the team;
- Any other duty which may be required from time to time.

Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role locally
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Good leadership skills
- Fluency in English
