The Strategic Sourcing Intern is responsible for partnering with Breeze teams in the planning, development, and execution of strategic sourcing projects and related initiatives. The Intern leverages spend analytics and spanet intelligence to identify cost optimization opportunities in the sourcing of goods and services, along with system process improvements. The Intern will work closely with the Finance team on determining the right spend at the right time for our start-up airline. they will be involved with foundational programs and projects that will be the base upon which the airline will be built. As part of the Finance team, they will get a view into how the organization comes together to get Breeze off the ground.
Heres what youll do- Assist with preparing RFPs, stakeholder alignment sessions, and spanet due diligence
- Build processes and procedures for proper spend management
- Support strategic sourcing projects (using standard sourcing methodologies) for a variety of goods and complex services, by estimating cost savings benefits and evaluating strategic sourcing performance metrics (KPIs)
- Ensures compliance with operational requirements, internal controls, and regulations
- Create ad-hoc analyses for operational, commercial, and administrative projects
- Performs analysis of category spend to assist in the development of sourcing strategies
- Enhance & Develop dashboards and metrics for daily, weekly, and monthly spend reporting
- Engage with other departments to identify opportunities to save money or avoid costs
- Develop cross-departmental relationships and Strategic Sourcing training programs
- Generate standard monthly reports
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by the senior executive team

Heres what youll need to be successfulMinimum Qualifications- 0-2 years working experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, FP&A, Accounting, or Finance
- Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field from an accredited university
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
