As a CNC Turner at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will be responsible for CNC programming, machining and deburring drawing requirements.

The position of CNC Turner holds the following responsibilities:-
CNC programming, machining & deburring to drawing requirements (this will entail the programming, setting & running of MDI controlled 2 / 3 Axis Lathes)
OCQ – Operator Control of Quality (i.e. Stamping to confirm quality of assemblies are to Honeywell and Customer standards).
To achieve on time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard.
Interpreting engineering drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures.
Working effectively in a lean environment.
Experience/Education Required:
Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential).
Knowledge of Mechanical Assembly/Fitting/Testing/Machining.
High standard of Health & Safety.
Adhering to Company Processes & Procedures.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience as a machine setup operator or similar role
- 6+ years of experience with machining processes and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
