Aerotek Aviation is seeking to hire an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic to perform C&D Check maintenance located in West Virginia. This Mechanic will be working within a Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) / Part 145 facility, focusing on the fabrication, installation, and overhaul of CRJ regional jet aircraft.
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft sheet metal/structures.
- Experience in modification, repair, and overhaul.
- Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Possession of own tools.
Work Environment:
The work environment is a heavy MRO setting, characterized by fast-paced operations and tight timeframes. Employees will tackle heavy C/D checks and inspections, receiving daily work orders with assigned timeframes for completion. The facility operates 24/7 with a Southern Swing Shift schedule, offering a choice between front end 1st/2nd shift or back end 1st/2nd shift.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
