Structures Technician (UH‑60 Modifications)Location: Guntersville, AL (40 minutes south of Huntsville)
Pay: Starting at $36/hr (per diem split available for eligible candidates)
Shifts: 1st & 2nd shift available Four 10‑hour shifts (Mon–Thur)
Job Summary
We are hiring experienced Structures Technicians to support a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) UH‑60 program. This role involves structural modifications, installations, sheet metal work, and avionics-related upgrades including autopilot systems and glass cockpit integrations. This is a long-term opportunity with a clear path to direct hire.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural modifications and installations on UH‑60 Black Hawk aircraft.
- Work on autopilot systems, avionics, and glass cockpit components.
- Read, interpret, and execute work from blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Conduct sheet metal repairs, fabrication, and airframe modifications.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills- 5+ years of aircraft structures experience preferred.
- Strong considerable expertise in modification and installation processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Rotary-wing experience is preferred; however, any platform with heavy mods/install experience is accepted.
- Must have personal tools or be willing to acquire them.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and airframe repairs.
- Familiarity with aviation structures and helicopter maintenance practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a fast-paced MRO/hangar setting.
