You will be responsible for ensuring that our benefits offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with the needs of our diverse workforce. You will support the Vice President of Global Benefits in the refinement of our existing global benefits strategy and support the execution of this strategy. You will have day-to-day responsibility to manage many of our vendor relationships within Honeywell Aerospace including Health & Insurance and retirement benefits, including defined benefit programs globally
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the refinement and execution of the existing global benefits strategy
• Oversee the day-to-day management of employee benefit programs globally
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective financial management, communication and administration of benefits programs
• Monitor industry trends and best practices
• Work directly with external vendors and consultants to support the execution of our priorities
• Provide guidance and support on benefits-related matters
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to employee benefits
• Analyze data and metrics to evaluate the performance and cost-effectiveness of benefits programs, including the management of our measurement strategy
• Support the development and delivery of employee education and communications to enhance understanding and utilization of benefits
• Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in the field of employee benefits and make recommendations for enhancements or changes to the benefits strategy
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in benefits management or related field
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations globally
- Experience in developing and executing benefits strategies
- Strong understanding of US benefits, including defined benefit pensions
- Strong understanding of health & insurance and defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes globally
- Strong financial acumen including understanding of accounting of global benefit programs, medical plan underwriting and benefits financing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
