Job Description:

Tasks

Work with us to develop a technical style guide that standardizes the structure and layout - for consistent presentation and efficient usability in operational systems.

  • Analysis and evaluation of the XML data structures supplied by various manufacturers
  • Coordination of layout requirements with specialist departments in flight operations (e.g. cockpit, technology, ground)
  • Creation of a master document to carry out a gap analysis between the target layout and the current display in the viewer
  • Development of a project plan for the systematic elimination of identified deviations (deltas)
  • Definition and documentation of standards for the structured and consistent display of technical content in the viewer
  • Investigation of the layout display in manufacturer-specific tools

Requirements

  • Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelors and Masters degree program (gap year)
  • Ongoing studies in the field of aerospace engineering, computer science, information technology, systems engineering, data engineering or a comparable technical degree program- Technical understanding of data structures (ideally XML) as well as initial experience in dealing with technical documentation or viewers- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team to coordinate with different departments
  • Confident handling of MS Office (Excel and Word); knowledge of project management
  • Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
  • Alternatively: Degree with a focus on information management, technical communication, media informatics or a related subject with a focus on structured and target group-oriented information preparation
