This allows our businesses to make better decisions by using data and analytics to understand our customers, operations, and markets. The EDA is an essential part of Emirates Groups digital transformation strategy. The unit is helping Emirates Group to become a more data-driven organization and to make better decisions by using data and analytics.
The Manager for Data & Analytics Product Portfolio will lead the Product Management capability for Enterprise Data and Analytics, solving business problems with Data and Analytics Solutions across all business portfolios within Emirates Group. Product Management is a key enabler in delivering quality and effectively used Data and Analytics products that facilitate data-driven decision-making for the Emirates Group. Leads the strategic planning, development, and implementation of Enterprise Data and Analytics products, practices, and processes in line with industry standards and best practices.
In this role, you will:
- Provides long term EDA product roadmap to business stakeholders. Evaluates business case for product roadmap investments and provides value propositions at an enterprise capability level.
- Owns data and information product roadmap and ensure compliance with Enterprise Data and Analytics strategic guidelines, architecture patterns and business value consideration in coordination with business managers and leaders.
- Defines the enterprise data and information product in close collaboration with the wider architecture and product community within Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) and other IT and business stakeholders
- Manage a team of qualified data and analytics product owners and BI specialists.
- Participate in Data Governance lead task of capturing and alignment of semantic information (business metadata) across diverse business areas and translating into appropriate intermediate formats (e.g.,information matrices or similar) and logical Enterprise Data & Information Models.
- Initiates and curates strategic innovation ideas from all stakeholders and jointly presents to business proposition managers, product owners and manager and other stakeholders and in collaboration with the business, prioritises initiatives, based on evidence
- Evidence to business stakeholders that EDA investments will meet business needs and establish the minimum metrics needed. Post launch evaluation of initiatives, ensuring the business value is measured and aligned with the business that it is adopted and realised, to assure that the implementation of the strategy aligns with the agreed boundaries and the results are continuously improving.
- Establish position as a thought leader through the Product Management and coach and mentor a team of high performing EDA product professionals and providing continuous feedback.
