Summary:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems within standard CMP time requirements
Provide work direction and mentorship to assigned technicians; uphold high-quality standards
Act on behalf of the Mechanical Team Lead (MTL) when assigned
Coordinate with Inspection to ensure FAA and internal compliance; complete all documentation accurately and timely
Properly tag, store, and safeguard customer property and components
Operate ground support equipment (power units, hydraulic rigs, nitrogen/oxygen carts) per SOPs and JSAs
Coordinate aircraft movement as required
Assist in training employees on CMP, SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations, and major component maintenance
Coordinate overhaul or repair of customer property with other departments
Utilize material tracking systems for parts ordering and labor charging
Apply 6S and Lean principles to maintain clean, safe work areas
Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials
Maintain and return company tools and equipment appropriately
Support aircraft certification and final phase testing, including participation in flight tests as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including 3 years on mid- to large-size aircraft
Corporate aircraft experience preferred
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
Valid Drivers License required
Advanced knowledge of aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures across product lines
Strong understanding of technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, SRMs, Service Bulletins, engineering drawings, etc.)
Working knowledge of FAA regulations, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
