Job Purpose: Responsible for maintenance and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic GSE such as HPUs, axle jacks, tripod jacks, tow bars, small pumps, lubricating units, and pneumatic tools, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
Key Accountabilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Inspect and service hydraulic pumps, cylinders, seals, and hoses. Maintain pneumatic systems including valves, regulators, and air lines.Conduct leak detection and troubleshooting for pressure systems. Carry out minor fabrication and welding for structural repairs.Ensure compliance with aviation safety standards and PPE usage.Maintain accurate maintenance logs and compliance documentation
Educational and Experience Requirements: Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) is advantageous for executive-level roles.
Experience: 0–5 years of experience in Hydraulic Equipment/Hydraulic vehicles. Exposure to AMOS or other Maintenance Information Systems. Experience in retrofitting and troubleshooting hydraulic /Hydroelectric/Hydro pneumatic equipemnts.Familiarity with aviation safety standards and audit processes.
