Position Overview
The Boeing India is currently seeking a high performing versatile Senior Solution Architect - Manufacturing Operations Management to join the Manufacturing & Quality team.
Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) is focused on improving manufacturing operations, including personnel, equipment and materials. By providing a total, integrated system for manufacturing at The Boeing Company, MOM will reduce costs, increase productivity and improve decision-making.
The successful Candidate will have deep techno-functional skills and be aligned to:
• Defining MOM implementation solutions or integration solutions.
• Will provide solutions aligned with Digital Enterprise MOM strategic business drivers, enablers, constraints & priorities.
• Providing technical leadership, application road maps/strategies to manage Technical obsolescence / Tech Debt and technical risks across the Manufacturing and Quality portfolio.
Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Leads activities to define requirements, design and verify robust architecture, data and information management systems and components. Leads the identification of design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements.
- Builds Architectural runway, enablers and develops and maintains architectures for the MOM agile implementation Program.
- Will define application rationalization approach and build architectural roadmaps.
- Assesses of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives. Performs trade-off analyses
- Design various integration solutions using SOA and/or Enterprise Guidelines and prepare required documents for same and execute various integrations.
- Manage all communication with IT and business stakeholders.
- Maintain an efficient technical environment, document all architectural plans and provide support to all businesses and assemble all system components.
- Evaluates products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments. Assist in finalization of all systems and provide support to various stakeholders.
- Drafts data and information management products and service standards. Assesses impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle
- Analyze all requirements and maintain all architecture business systems and documents.
- Maintain and documents all service contracts (ICD) and promote optimal level of communications.
- Orchestrates the solution implementation between multiple teams from inception Go Live providing enablers, solutions, conducting due diligence and collaboration
- Job requires working within a team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelors degree is required as Basic Qualification
- Designated expertise and Hands-on experience in IT Solution architecture using MES tools. Experience in implementation and rollout of various Apriso MES modules and Opscenter MES.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and Functional Expertise in providing Manufacturing IT solutions for Automotive or Aerospace companies.
- Excellent knowledge of how business and organization operate; knowledge of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; understands the competition and the spanetplace
- Excellent working experience in MES/MOM integrations with shop floor systems like historians, PLC, shop floor machines and Knowledge about ISA 95, experience in various MOM functions and integrations standards.
- Understating of production scheduling implementation using Quintiq/Ortems or other planning tools will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of shop order execution, kitting management, quality, and various other modules of manufacturing.
- Good Knowledge of Architecture documentation standards and tools like Cameo.
- Knowledge and understanding of DevOps implementation for MES applications.
- Understating and experience of working in SAFe Agile methodologies
- Experience architecting .NET/Java MES/MOM /Manufacturing Quality IT systems.
- Experience in Design and development of Integrations with ERP/ APRISO/ MES and other legacy applications using SOA, web services, API’s.
- Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
- Knowledge of Restful-API, Kafka, IBM-Fuse, Messaging Queue, Cloud (PCF/Azure/AWS), Gateway (API-C), JWT, Multi-Threading, Load balancer, .Net Core, RESTful API, ADO, CI/CD, TFS, Git.
- Experience in customizing /extending industry standard message model / data model.
- Knowledge of PLM/3DX/Delmia platform implementation.
- Knowledge of cloud-based architecture, deployment methodology.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Experience in Aerospace and Engineering Domain is preferred.

- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 16 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
