Your expertise in project accounting and financial analysis will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for business expansion and mitigating financial risks.
You will report directly to our Vice President of Finance and you will work out of our UOP division headquarters in Rosemont, Illinois on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of the UOP division by leading and overseeing the project accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to financial policies and procedures, and compliance with financial regulations. Your leadership and strategic thinking abilities will be crucial in driving financial performance, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide strategic direction and oversight to the project accounting function
• Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives
• Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals are aligned with overall business strategies
• Provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth, optimize profitability, and minimize costs
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to identify business expansion opportunities and mitigate financial risks
• Lead and mentor a team of project accounting professionals
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior executives and the board of directors
• Drive financial performance, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and optimize resource allocation

Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $195,000 - 265000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project accounting or a similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects
• Strong knowledge of project accounting principles and practices
• Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, including Microsoft Excel, with the ability to develop financial models, perform scenario analysis, and create meaningful reports
• Experience in managing large-scale projects and budgets, with a solid understanding of project financials, cost control, and financial forecasting
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly and concisely, with strong presentation and influencing skills
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on talent development, succession planning, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

• Masters degree in finance or MBA preferred
