As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist Principal here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in driving the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts. You will be accountable for completing fair and reasonable price analyses, executing program-aligned subcontracts, and collaborating with key functions within and outside of ISC to facilitate FAR15 proposals and subcontracts. This role requires a detailed insight of DoD procurement life cycle, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
In this role, you will impact the company by ensuring the delivery of compliant FAR15 packages to the US government, executing strategic long-term agreements with suppliers, and driving cost savings through effective negotiation and supplier management.

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance
- Conduct spanet research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
- Strong negotiation skills and processes
- Ability to self-reliantly guide multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
WE VALUE
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Technical discipline
- Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
- Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems preferred
- Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or a similar industry
- Significant experience managing subcontracts (FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.)
- Ability to negotiate terms and conditions
- Experience with executing subcontracts
