* $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly Education & Job Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in soldering and rework, with a focus on advanced techniques
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of electronics assembly and repair principles
* Maintain proficiency with soldering irons, stations, reflow ovens, and soldering machines
* Utilize inspection and testing equipment, including microscopes and X-ray machines
* Exhibit excellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and attention to detail
* Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting production deadlines and quality standards
* Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Possess IPC certification in soldering and rework, including IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721
* Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
* Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) systems
* Experience with automated X-ray inspection (AXI) systems Job Duties & Functions
* Perform advanced rework on circuit card assemblies
* Execute BGA (Ball Grid Array) reballing and replacement activities
* Conduct QFN (Quad Flat No-Lead) and leadless package rework operations
* Repair high-density connectors and complex electronic assemblies
* Replace SMT (Surface Mount Technology) components on circuit card assemblies
* Assemble through-hole and SMT electronic components
* Utilize hand soldering and reflow soldering techniques
* Verify correct part placement and orientation using microscopes
* Inspect assemblies to identify defects and nonconformances
* Troubleshoot electronic assemblies and support corrective actions
* Develop rework procedures for new and existing products
* Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues
* Install stand-offs, spacers, and associated hardware
* Assemble and align complex mechanical components
* Apply adhesives, epoxies, and bonding agents during assembly operations
