Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator with over two years of experience, specifically in 5-axis machining. The ideal candidate will excel in setting up, troubleshooting, and programming runs. This role involves programming your run, operating the part, and working on a new program while the part is running. The work is diverse, with projects varying and not repetitive in nature.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines for 5-axis machining tasks.
• Set up and operate CNC machinery efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming and operational issues.
• Work on new programming tasks while parts are running.
• Adapt to varying project requirements and tasks.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years experience in 5-axis programming and operation.
• Proficiency in CNC machining and use of Mastercam.
• Experience with CATIA is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and programming software such as Aspire or Mastercam.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A proactive and efficient work ethic is essential.
• Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

Work in a 15,000 square foot, temperature-controlled warehouse located in Garden City. While the environment is production-focused, a 2-3 week adaptation period is provided. Expect a fast-paced atmosphere once fully acclimated.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
