Electronics Assembler
Compensation: $17-25/hr
Location: Fort Walton Beach
Hours: 7 am - 4 pm (working Mon - Fri)
The Electronics Assembler is responsible for building, assembling, and testing electronic components and sub‑assemblies in a production or manufacturing environment. This role involves working with detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions to ensure all products meet quality, safety, and performance standards. The position requires strong attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to work with small components, soldering tools, and standard electronic test equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble electronic components, PCB boards, wiring harnesses, and sub‑assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing standards.
- Perform soldering of through‑hole and surface‑mount components following IPC/J‑STD workmanship guidelines.
- Use multimeters, continuity testers, and other basic test equipment to verify functionality and troubleshoot assemblies.
- Crimp, strip, route, and terminate wires, connectors, and cables as required for each build.
- Inspect completed assemblies for defects, correct alignment, proper solder joints, and compliance with quality specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation, update production travelers, and record assembly or test results.
- Follow ESD handling procedures, clean‑room or controlled environment protocols, and all safety requirements.
- Support production goals by meeting daily build schedules and assisting with rework, repairs, and prototype builds when needed.
- Communicate with engineers, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve build issues and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications- Experience with electronic assembly, soldering, or PCB work preferred.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electronic testing equipment.
- Understanding of ESD precautions and safe handling of sensitive components.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
