Job Title: ElectricianJob Description
The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and terminating wiring for instrumentation and data acquisition systems, as well as performing complex troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. You will work closely with design engineers to address issues derived from test data and lead projects with minimal oversight. This position is working in a heavy construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Install and terminate wiring for instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
- Install connectors, connector pins, terminals, and lugs.
- Perform continuity checks and correct wiring errors using ohmmeters and voltage calibrators.
- Support fellow technicians and engineering employees using shop assembly equipment and hand tools.
- Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures and issues.
- Write and organize work planning documents and instructions.
- Generate purchase orders from vendor quotes.
- Lead complex projects with little to no oversight.
- Install and modify electrical conveyances, including conduit and cable tray.
- Build intricate cable assemblies using Mil-C connectors and contacts.
- Troubleshoot AC power distribution equipment up to 480VAC.
- Build, terminate, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based manufacturing hardware.
- Fabricate support structures and enclosures for electrical distribution equipment.
- Run and bend conduit and perform wire routing and terminations.
- Handle both analog and digital electrical systems, converting signals for PLC processing.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial and manufacturing maintenance equipment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cape Canaveral, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
