Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Deploy Daily Management

  • Establish tiered daily huddles, visual performance boards, and clear SQDC metrics.
  • Facilitate problem identification and owner assignment; track closure and effectiveness.

Build Standard Work and Flow

  • Document and pilot standard work for critical processes; enable adherence through training and observation.
  • Map end-to-end value streams, eliminate bottlenecks, and design pull systems and takt-based flow.

Coach Problem Solving

  • Teach and mentor teams in A3 thinking, 5-Why, PDCA, and practical experimentation.
  • Facilitate cross-functional kaizen events focused on highest SQDC gaps.

Enable Connection to Strategy

  • Translate site/program priorities into actionable, measurable improvement plans.
  • Support portfolio of improvement projects with charters, targets, and weekly cadence.

Develop Capability

  • Train team members on lean tools, visual management, and waste identification.
  • Build leader standard work (LSW) and coach leaders on gemba behavior and accountability.

Measure and Sustain

  • Set baselines, define targets, and create control plans to lock in gains.
  • Audit adherence to standard work; trigger countermeasures when performance drifts.

Digital and Analytics Support

  • Partner with data owners to ensure clean, timely metrics; use lightweight dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities for RPA/analytics that simplify standard work and improve signal-to-noise.

Required Qualifications

  • +6 months working in the company
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, engineering, services, or supply chain.
  • Demonstrated results improving SQDC metrics with standard work, visual management, and PDCA.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills; ability to influence without authority.
  • Proficiency in value stream mapping, A3 problem solving, and root cause analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace or regulated, safety-critical environments.
  • Exposure to new product introduction (NPI), maintenance/overhaul, or complex program management.
  • Familiarity with constraint management, takt planning, and mixed-model scheduling.
  • Data literacy: basic SQL/Excel/BI; comfort with operational dashboards.
