As a Head of Commercial, dnata Singapore, you will be a key integrator, connecting functions and product lines including Ground Handling and Cargo, to ensure dnatas commercial and technical expertise effectively addresses customer and business needs, whilst driving solutions across the broader value chain.
This is a full time, permanent role, based in our Singapore office.
In this role, you will:
- Negotiate complex and high-value contracts, ensuring a quality-driven approach rather than commoditisation
- Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with customers, authorities, business partners and stakeholders to strengthen dnata’s local and global reputation
- Lead customer satisfaction efforts, overseeing Net Promoter Scores and Customer Satisfaction surveys, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop the dnata Singapore Commercial team, fostering accountability, empowerment and high performance aligned with the company’s value proposition
- Maintain the highest standards by ensuring policies, governance and legal frameworks are clearly communicated and consistently adhered to, safeguarding shareholder interests and brand integrity
- Represent dnata as a brand ambassador, ensuring alignment with corporate values and strategy during public engagements and official appearances.
QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of 5+ years working in an operational or commercial role in aviation (or equivalent/adjacent sector e.g logistics), managing a multi-customer product.
- Strong influencing skills and a proven ability to deal at all levels within a global business, combined with a sound knowledge of effective business leadership best practice.
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Outstanding influencing and negotiation skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
You’ll have an edge if you have:
- Exposure to and/or understanding of IATA standard contracts
- A professional leadership qualification, with a focus on negotiation skills.
