Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support the Motor Freight team based out of Coppell, TX.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Boeings organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
Knowledge of United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express, DHL, and Domestic and International Express Mail processes.
Knowledge of packaging procedures for chemicals, airplane parts or documents.
Ability to gather, retain, and recall a variety of facts and data in written and/or verbal form for the achievement of work tasks and duties.
Knowledge of operating procedures for packaging and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, walking stackers, carts, dollies, box tapers).
Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
General knowledge of transportation, shipping, receiving, and storage procedures to understand and identify potential requirements and impacts (e.g., Electrostatic Discharge [ESD], hazardous material, OSHA, EHS).
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Experience working in a warehouse or warehouse environment.
Knowledge of common warehouse technology, its purposes and uses.
Knowledge of warehouse equipment, its purposes and uses.

1 or more years of experience working in a warehouse or warehouse environment.
