Take Command of Critical Tech Ops — Become a Tech-Support Incident Manager in Aerospace
Location: Annapolis, MD 21401
Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Contract)
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM $34.38/hour
Environment: 24/7/365 Operations Center – some weekends & holidays required

As a Tech-Support Incident Manager at PDS Tech Commercial, you’ll be at the forefront of aerospace network integrity, ensuring seamless communication between ground systems and airborne assets. Working in a Tier 2 Network Operations Center (NOC), your impact will be immediate, visible, and mission-critical. You’ll help troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, guiding resolution efforts and maintaining uptime in a 24/7 global operational environment.

• Monitor high-availability IP networks and critical systems using network management tools

• Engage telecom providers and internal teams to restore services swiftly and efficiently

• Track, document, and update incidents using established ITSM tools

• Troubleshoot Tier 2 issues, working with senior engineers to resolve complex challenges

• Support Air-to-Ground communications and high-stakes aerospace messaging systems

• Lead and collaborate on network performance monitoring and solution designs

• Analyze customer-reported issues and provide effective resolutions

• Ensure service continuity during weekends and holidays (as needed in rotation)

Required Qualifications

• Network+ Certification

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, network systems, and IT infrastructure

• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM concepts

• Experience troubleshooting Cisco devices and working with HSRP/BGP protocols

• AA/AS degree with 1–2 years’ relevant experience OR HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years’ experience

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA Certification

• Hands-on experience with Remedy, Netcool, Office 365, ServiceNow

• Prior work in a 24/7 NOC environment or aerospace/aviation IT support
