Qatar Airways (QR) have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting another colleague to join us as Senior Sales Operations agent for our Northern Europe Region.
This will include 6 countries – Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denspan, Poland and Russia.
Based in Stockholm, you will provide five-star service to Qatar Airways internal and external customers. You will act as our Qatar Airways product and process expert by supporting the team with daily complex sales trade operations tasks (ie: Trade/Corporate Account support, Sales Support, Sales Systems, and Sales Administration and some Reservation tasks).
You will ensure that activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner and contribute to develop every day activities to increase sales and minimize ineffectiveness.
This is a contract role for one year.

Specific accountabilities include:

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for sales operations functions established to ensure alignment to Qatar Airways global sales/sales operations principles.
• Act as product knowledge expert for trade support tasks, supporting in more complex tasks related to for example reservations and enquiries.
• Follow-up with trade partners on enquiries, requests via e-mail and Trade Portal.
• Handle all sales operations activities including (but not limited to), Trade/Corporate Account support, refunds and manage bookings and ticketing of AD/ID-tickets and support Trade partners with education and development of our Trade portal.
• Back-up for Sales Operations Coordinators in the areas of Sales Support, Indoor Sales, Sales Systems and Sales administration.
• Assist our Customer Care department, when required, with enquires, translations, contacts with agents etc.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Relevant experience ideally within a travel agency/airline
• Some experience in GDS as Amadeus with reservations/ticketing; refunds
• Some knowledge of fares/fare rules and Amadeus (reservations, ticketing, history etc.)
• Strong problem-solving, relationship building and communication skills.
• Fluency in English language both spoken and written is a mandatory requirement.
